And grateful thanks go to you for continuing this. I'm reallly looking forward to the end result. I check in here at least weekly to see if you've finished it yet. Recognition will indeed go to you for your efforts. There are many, including my good self who will ensure that.

At this point I'm looking more for money and future gigs making softsynths. I've invested way too much time into this emulation stuff for a hobby. I don't just mean the Polymoog, but I've got a Chroma (if you can believe it), a Juno 60 and a BUNCH of new developments like fully-variable voice assignment and keyboard-controlled step sequencers (ala the Syntex) that are ready to be put into something.
I might hold a poll over the next few weeks; what would people pay more than $100 for if it were made by just me and not some company with shareholders that don't care a shit for good software.

Before anyone else gets the wrong idea, the PolyVox VSTi IS NOT FINISHED. I've been learning over the last year that I'm able to make the most progress when I'm working on more than 1 thing.

If there were a poll... Funnily I mentioned these earlier this week on KVR... I would pay over 100$ for a excellent versions of:
Moog Prodigy SCI Pro One Roland CR-78 (obviously as a synth not a sample based thing). The EMS VCS3 was also mentioned on there (is that the best one from that series of synths?). ONly aware of it's use by Brian Eno and Jarre, it sounded like I want one though!)

I would pay more than 100 bucks for the same synths that tokyohunter mentioned. Except for the prodigy though. A pro one would definitely be fantastic, always wanted this. A good VSTi of course rather than a shitbox with artifacts and aliasing. Of course, the Polymoog is top of my list.
Please give me a beta version of the polyvox or something now. I'm so hungry for this I can't stand it any longer. I can't sleep at night. I can't eat my dinner. I cry for no reason whilst commuting to work.

That's how I felt (well, almost) before I started doing Synthedit. I was tired of being confounded by not being able to put anything together myself. Needless to say, I'm way past that problem now.

Actually, there is one other synth that would be the best thing ever. That is the Roland System 100. NOT the big modular beasts (System 100M) but the keyboard thing that had an expansion thing attached to it as used by Heaven 17 and Kraftwerk. There's a picture of one here.. www.vintagesynth.com/roland/sys100.phpYou would just need the parts 101 and 102. Not the crap that went on the sides (Sequencer/Mixer) although this too would be fantastic. I owned just the 101 and it was fantastic and huge sounding. I sold it as I could never find the 102 to go with it.

Now, now. Let's let him finished the PolyVox before we all bombard him with Synths! Keep up the good work, Overstate!
