Hi. Does anyone know how to get the smooth electric piano style sound that appears mainly on Numans Dance album, also heard on Music For Chameleons, Cry The Clock Said & I think also on Slow Car To China ?
I can get close with my P5 but its missing something like a deeper PWM depth or almost a tremolo effect?
Any ideas ?

Yeah, its a Yamaha CP-30 electric piano with a lot of reverb and a touch of delay ;D Got your email toight bud and yes I did get your tracks but sadly have had sod all time to do check kthem out properly yet. The good news is that I have completely remastered "Into The Asylum" so that should be ready for the long awaited Dubsounds label update as soon as I can get it all sorted.

Nice one ! Can you or anyone else recommend a good reverb unit as a stand alone effect ? Did MXR do one, or does anyone know what Numan & his band used with the CP30 etc ? I'm looking forward to hearing all the new tracks on the dubsounds label once they are ready. Quite exited I will be hmmmm ! ;D

I think Gary used an Eventide Plate reverb and a delay but not sure which one. My plate reverb is a digital simulation fx on my mixer and it sounds pretty close
Eventide do a modern Plate reverb simulation called the reverb 2016 which is supposed to sound the same.
I will add the new remixed tracks to the Dubsounds radio playlist when it happens.
