This is one of the tracks I've been working on recently. It started out as a play around with a new effects plugin. Typically I end up filing stuff away to work on more another time but I though I would try posting stuff more before stuff is finished, so this is work in progress. All comments/advice/feedback welcome of course: www.thesilatcentre.com/tokyohunter

;D Nice track there mate Like the beginning and how different bits build up/come in. Cool choice of drum sounds too, a few out of the ordinary ones in there ;D The break starting at about 2:20 seamed a bit too empty &/or too long. Overall, it sounds great, just needs a bit more here and there for me. Maybe something with long echo, or delay, coming in and out from time to time ? Nice, though - I enjoyed it - made me feel chilled out ;D (hence the echo/delay idea above).

Thanks Danny. Yeah the breakdown could probably be helped by being shorter/less repetitive...

Thanks guys for listening ;D ,I really trust your judgement so I'm gonna try to make it alot shorter, it's about 7mins at the moment, I will try and do something like a 4 and a half minute version of it.

Well up to your usual standard Bern. I really like your music because it has quite a unique quality. It's never intrusive and is perfect to have on in the background when I'm working.
This one sees you using more retro analogue sounds I think and of the tracks I've hear from you recently, I would say this is the closest to having a traditional structure. Rather than dissipate, this track has a real "finale" ending which was a lovely bit of punctuation at the end of the trip.
As for the length, I guess Gavin and Mark might not be getting it. Your type of music needs to be 7-8 minutes a throw really because it's travelling music and you need time to check the sights along the way.
A definite "keeper", well done ;D

I've put up a new shorter version called Molten2. The name will probably change when I get time to pick a more suitable one. I think the shorter start is better and the breakdown is short and got a bit more going on which I like too. Towards the end though it seems to end a bit qquick for me, could be 30 ssecs to a minute longer now I think... www.thesilatcentre.com/tokyohunterStill got a few more bits to do before I'm happy with it. Tomorrow I'll probably be playing the 3 Foxx tracks several times before adding comments so might get back onto this on wednesday.
