Id prefer it without the stops/chatting bits. Are they really neccassary? A good vibe and sound though.

You're getting better at this Mark Best beat you've carved up yet. Then what do I know... my head is full of SAND!!! Please listen to more Dillinja and Pendulum (esp their new Heavy Metal style of D&B). Next time make it LOUDER and I want more bass... you hardly got my sub this time!!!!

Mark, I am seriously impressed This is my kind of stuff as far as drum and bass goes. A bit more boost on the bass would be good I agree, but this gets my head rockin, and at 1:07 ish, It even made my lips do that pout thing (if you know what I mean!) Only criticism, I thought the high laser sound at 1.34 sounded wrong. I think a more "filter cut off" version would be better ? More kratfwerk zap, rather than laser pow ? If I am being picky, then perhaps the cymbal sound could be changed too ? Not sure what for though, it's just that it stood out a bit too much and I think that was because of the sound rather than the volume in the mix. Just my thoughts though Mark. I is liking this tune though mate! Now downloaded to my PC for future listening pleasure

Well before the dubpod I would have stuck needles in my ears rather than listen to a whole D&B track.
Then Shaun played a track at the begining of one show (or part). I think it was called "painkiller" and probably was pendulum. Definitely my cup of char (chah?).
Get very much the same vibe from your track but certainly the mix doesn't have that same rattle your car on its suspension mix that frightens OAP's at pedestrian crossings.
Have a crack at putting this in and repost. Personally I wouldn't change anything else

;D Oh cheers everyone, I'm pleased some people actually like my track. I thought I might have to 'get my coat' I've put some sub into the main rift but because of my setup here, I'm not sure how well it sounds: Too much sub?: Blow Your Mind v2For Mr Vortex Esq., how about this (for a laugh): Blow Your Mind v2 Pendulum Perc Please comment on my SUB mix as I'm having difficulty ;D

Please comment on my SUB mix as I'm having difficulty ;D Spot on Mark. You finally got the sub in my studio humming. Morris was sleeping next to it at the time. Woke up with a start, twitched, licked himself rapidly and fell back to sleep ;D BTW - I don't know what you stole and what you left out but the Pendulum version is a lot better! (I think it's the lack of that annoying high metallic clinging thing)

Definitley like the vortex mix
But how do you young folk dance to it?
In my day we held our women close.
I'm thinking "skids" into the valley. "Sex pistols" Pretty vacant. Romantic stuff. Honestly the yoof of today.

Definitley like the vortex mix +1 I don't run a sub, but seems to me there's room for more bass down there. According to these here Tannoys anyway...

I think it just needs mastering Jordan. I mean that's the idea isn't it? A mix should work right on most types of speaker. Subs are nice but you should be able to take them out and still feel some bottom end. A bit of split frequency limiting would sort that methinks. I might process that mp3 later to show you what I mean.
