As it's a cover version based show this weekend,i thought i'd post 2 songs i've been working on. The story is,my mate (kev butler)has decided to record an album of cover versions with people he's known through music over the years. I've worked on LISTEN TO THE SIRENS and QUESTION OF TIMEI've done all the music except the guitars on both tracks and the vocal :Don sirens. Iwasn't allowed to drift to far from the originals so there's not much liquidscreamer in there, which may be a good thing I've also mixed the tracks :oand have still to pass them on to kev,so any last minute advice would be appreciated

Its a shame he wanted to stick so much to the originals and not do something new with them. I cant beleive anyone would buy this album but thats just my opinion. How did he get clearance to release these songs?

How did he get clearance to release these songs? It's not a commercial thing gav,he just wanted a cover album of some of his favourite songs with his mates on. A bit like what we're doing for the dubpod really, although not quite as much cheese
