So y'all asked me to share some of the tunes I craft from time to time in my modest little home studio so here's a few short clips.. hope the link works. Go to my music myspace page, and click the third song in the music player titled " synth punk" (I'm horrible at naming tracks!) www.myspace.com/themodeldivisionVery Tubeway Army inspired obviously .. honestly can't recall if this began as a cover of an existing Numan song or if it's my own composition but nevertheless here's a taste what I hammered out last night - in rough form. Other tracks on the page are fairly old.. but you are welcome to critique away. If you get really bored - feel free to listen to more old dusty tracks of mine (please don't judge them too harshly, a lot of them are embarassingly rookie!) here : www.7161.com/artist.cfm?user=8256&start=1&end=1&select_flava_id=&music_type=1&name_search=model%20division&music_group=1cheers all, Billy

I like the hand clap sound The panning is a bit too hard for my ears. It is crying out for a lush and in ya face string sound over the top of it. Let me think now - Arrrh yes - Vox Humana would do nicely Thanks for sharing. I wll have a listen to the other linked stuff now.

I would say "Monochrome boys"is by far your best. I'm surprised you chose Synth punk as your flagship track although I think that whole 8 bit vibe might see more popular use in the future. There was a recent album of Kraftwerk covers ("8 bit operators"....I think) all done with 8 bit kit, some tracks were really quite good

Want to buy me a Polymoog? I'll gladly add in the lush vox humana! Heck, I'll throw it on ALL my tracks. Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated.

Same here but it does sound like Tubeway Army randomly shuffled
