Sounds nice. I know one hi-res filter should sound like another but they don't. I remember the Mini #sobs# being particularly good at it..

Incidentally, is anyone else getting adverts for Chinese food whilst following this thread? Fantastic - if only they'd deliver! The next thread I start will be called 'Free Domino's Pizza to your door within 5 minutes'....

Yeah i agree The Sh2000 does a really nice version of the "Please push no more" sound which is similar but a bit more mellow.
Sugary as Denis Haines describes it. The original is Pro Soloist I believe.

How come the krawftwerk thing didnt happen as quick? Well, for me it's cos I'm not nearly as familiar with the Kraftwerk stuff. I had to learn Spacelab first and then work at it like a project. That Cry thing I did from memory and banged it out. So to speak..

Hope this isn't considered to off topic on what is a thread which typifies what makes this site so fukin great.. but what is a fair price for a mint cp30. I know one goiung for £250.
Back on thread..... its a shame we don't have a vocalist up fo it

You have to really like the sound, and appreciate what it can and can't do. Also you need room to park it. If you've sorted all that out in your head then 250 may be okay, but it's a little higher than usual for the UK. Down your way, I guess you might have to take what's on offer.
I paid £150 sight unseen and came a bit of a cropper cos it's not quite right and not readily fixed. Andy paid about 25 quid I think for his as it was 'broken' i.e. needed a switch fettling #annoyed#. They usually come up around the 100-200 quid mark.

Also you need room to park it. I second that. I'm currently trying to rationalise my setup and I've just removed the CP30 (for now). Once out of the squalid little corner I laughingly call a studio it seems I have regained enough space to park wifey's people carrier All I've managed to re-site are the Polymoog and JP8000. Lying on the floor, looking worriedly back at me are the CP30, Odyssey, JP4 and 2600. The 2600 is deffo going back. The rest are going to join the LM1 in the garage, eventually . As I've said before, it's a lovely problem to have but frustrating, nonetheless. As to the CP30, I've quite successfully sampled it in my Emu X. It obviously doesn't feel the same played back from the JP8000 as it does from that lovely 70's weighted Yammy keyboard. I may (one day) get one of them new fangled, weighted master keybds (I hear the M-Audio Keystation 88 is good - but even longer than the bloody CP30!) - it would be cool to see how the samples sound played back from such a beast. Oh, J - I paid £19 for it..... (runs and ducks....)

Mayhaps an egg to many??Not sure I can live with the additional drumtrack. I reckon version 5 is the definitive one. #musik14#
What do you think after rested ears?? I still have painful memories of thinking I had cra***d "vox humana" on a vst. Having claimed as much I was very embarrassed to hear my patch again the next morning....TOTAL bollocks #wtf# #musik14#

That's interesting - I LOVED the drum track & thought it kicked the end of the track into another level. I was hearing an odd crash from a Synare III electronic drum in my head too (like on Cars).
;D
