Three new signings and a layout change, the Dubsounds virtual label is updated at last. Click here for a shortcut (you don't have to sign in). If anyone wants to be considered for the label see this thread for details. All tracks will get a mastering job on the house and may be edited for length (done sensitively of course). Cheers Shaun [Fixed link - Jords]

Well that's a good start... cheers Russ but even though it's blatantly obvious, the artists themselves (ie YOU LOT) are the ones that should be getting the feedback ;D

Crying hearts is wonderful although i still aint sure about the ending. Black arrows needs to be listened to with some visuals on display, some instrumentals can give me a picture in my mind but sadly not this one. Into the asylum finally pushed me into obtaining a polymoog so it is good in that aspect, but i,m finding using it alot(like all the way through a track)can make you lazy because it sounds so darn cool, any tune you play is going to sound fantastic. SS69 is fantastic, but as its a cover and you used some actual samples from the original(and your singing)it doesnt qualify for comment Subdivision,i,ve never listened to this all the way through. Obviously the mixing, mastering etc. is first class but that is just being apathetic in a "i expected it anyway"kind of way. All in all the only 2 i listen to regularly are crying hearts and ss69 as they are vocal tracks(kind of in ss69,s case) ;D

Seems like I've missed alot that's being going on here! But I'm going to be around alot more now Just played the tracks: 101music's Subdivision is a great track.Love everything about it.Made me realise I need to use more classic synth sounds as I love them! That bass synth sound is top notch,as is the percussion. Control Addict's ss69 another top production.I haven't heard the original but I have a funny feeling this is better than it! Dannymoog's Into the Asylum: again great track.Very Numan with a slight hint of Ultravox. The reverb helps make it sound big. The pitch bend on the main sound is spot on.And again another track with alot of repeat playablity. Gooligan's Black Arrows, This would sit well next to Dramatis' Take Me Home which is also a classic piece of what I would call "romantic music for gothic castles" This track just gets better and better as it progresses. Breathehope's Crying Hearts,as above ,a great production, vocals work really well, synths make it just spooky enough without being to obvious, and the build keeps it interesting.Only thing I was made about was the initial staccato bassline. So all in all a seriously quality bunch of tracks. So what's the full plan with the label idea???
