i've bought a polymoog synth in non-working condition but i have decided to sell it in parts (after i took 2 sliders from it, and a chip from the preset/resonator board, to fix some issues in my other polymoog.)
so, if anyone is interested in certain parts, just let me know. i must stress that all parts are untested. since i am not a skilled technician, i don't want to just put parts in my working polymoog to see what happens. maybe i would if i knew what i was doing, but i don't. sorry.
the polymoog i bought powers up to preset 9, and responds to most switches and sliders. however, there is a constant noise/ polyphonic/kakaphonic sound from the synth that won't go away. it changes when modulation or tuning is applied, but playing the keyboard seems to have no effect. please be aware that all parts are sold as-is.
i am particularly interested in tradin for original user manuals to the polymoog synth and the minimoog synth (old boards). also, i am looking for some slider caps for my sonic six. any black or white (moog satellite) are welcome and much appreciated. it's ok if they're cra***d or broken, as long as both parts are there.
thanks for your attention....

Hmm, there may be a few Satellite slider knobs about, and I think I have a few black ones as well...
I'll go look in a bit...

Hi there Anna, just sent you a personal message regarding the parts. I am hoping to save mine as I want to rebuild it as it's been with me for some time quite attached to it. I've left my email & number there.
Many Thanks

by now, most has gone.
hre's what's left:
left top board
middle top board (could i have this turned into a stand alone resonator by an expert??)
3 motherboards with their respective middle 'polycom cards' (i mean the 1 card in the middle that is different from all other polycom cards)
the 2 boards with switches, from under the front panel with all wiring still attached and intact
the 2 slider panels with all sliders present, except for 2 that were used for transplantation purposes, wiring intact
1 hfo board mk1
that's it i think.
i'm still very much interested in getting these sonic six or satellite slider caps, dead or alive, or maybe a minimoog user manual with blue cover. or hard cash!
i am also contemplating selling my polymoog synth, fully working except for 2 leds and filter s&h - but mind you, it's in the netherlands, quite close to the ferries to harwich and hull, in fact - could meet you there... a trade with something sizably smaller (?!) like an ms20, ms50, tr808 or 2nd type sonic six, is not only considered but jumped at!

well, everything has gone, except for the motherboards and a few polycom cards.
one of the mother boards is up on ebay, but you never know.
i am trying to build a stand-alone resonator from some parts, the way kenneth elhardt did (check out his youtube demo if you haven't done so already. and hear what a polymoog resonator does to a €4,5k jupiter 8 - great stuff)
so, anyone interested in all 3 mother boards + 10 or so polycom cards, let me know. and i am still very much interested in those sonic6 or satellite slider caps, or a minimoog user manual, or a jp8 user manual, for that matter, but let's not go there

well, it's a strange world.
one person seemed to have 2nd thoughts about his purchase and decided to frustrate delivery by DHL and then claim back his money (or rather, my money) from paypal. sadly paypal overlooked the fact that this person had arranged pick up himself, and reimbursed him.
so, some parts (i don't even remember which parts exactly) will be returned to me shortly and i will put them up again. where this person took over 2 months to make delivery NOT work, it took me 1 day and 2 phonecalls to arrange the return of goods. i'm expecting the parts by monday/tuesday and i will post them then. since i have no polymoog or other parts left (other than my standalone resonator, which is amazing!!) they'll be priced to sell quickly. and if anyone is interested in knowing who not to sell to, just drop me a pm.

Sorry to hear that Leo, you were really helpful to me with my parts, it's a shame there are people like that around.
Barry.

hi Barry, thanks. i'd like to think i was as helpful to him as i was to you, or maybe even more. turned out he was only looking after himself.
i just got back the parcel. it's the complete back panel wiring that's been returned, all plastic keytops, the preset switch panel including its front panel frame with lettering, 12 polycom cards and a top panel, it is the left hand panel, that is the vco board i think.
i'll check here in a few days and if no-one's interested in anything, i'll put it up on ebay.
the 'buyer' claimed dhl wouldn't or couldn't deliver over the last 2+ months. in fact he missed several visits by dhl, probably intentionally. it took me 5 days, including the weekend to contact dhl, arrange return and actually get it back.
but then again, if someone deletes their account by accident, maybe he's not so handy altogether ?! i thought i did wise, to put it up here, small community, but dedicated to the resurrection of polymoogs i've had better luck on ebay.
and now i'm stuck with just the keytops, keyboard's gone, just the backpanel wiring, back panel itself i had to saw in two to leave all wiring intact, as requested.

I'd be interested in some polycom cards if you wanna talk, and maybe some of the rest of it.
what you looking at for them a piece?
edit: i got some moog satellite slider caps i think even! let me look.
Edit! i have 1 slider cap. it has a crack down the backside like most of them do, but the front is still good.

I may be interested in the TL board, assuming you still have it, and if I can afford it at the moment. I found what I thought were the Satellite sliders I had, but they are black instead of white. I was going to make a mold and resin-cast some more, since I do not have enough for both my Satellite and my Minitmoog both. I'll let you know how they turn out. I'm headed on holiday tomorrow, so it'll be some time before I get a chance to make them.

That doesn't sound good! I hope no polymoog parts were damage, they are in extreme short supply as it is without couriers destroying them!
I had a steel bumper for my WW2 jeep delivered by DHL that arrived looking like a banana! HTF it ended up like that I don't know!
