Before I return my incomplete Polymoog to the seller for a refund, does anyone have two HFO boards they want to sell? If so, perhaps you can PM me or post here if you prefer.
Many thanks,
Barry.

Are the boards completely missing, or just non-functional?

I know you found the answer in my other thread Don, but for anyone else reading this, they're completely missing.
Barry.

i am considering having a polymoog fixed, or break it down for parts. i bought it as non-working. it powers up, but there's a constant noise (well, sound..) there's no response to the keyboard, but the sound does change when pwm or saw tune or pitch modulation is applied.
i was thinking of putting it all up for auction, in parts. you're looking for the 2 boards that go into the divider board, right? (are you still looking?)

the synth. maybe i should add it's an early model where it says 'polymoog keyboard' above the panel, yet it's the synthesizer.

If still no, check the power supply voltages. It's easiest to check at the 6-pin plug where the Polypedal plugs in.

thanks, but i am not even capable of doing that (measuring voltages) and i don't want to drag around the polymoog to get it repaired.
i understand this is not the way to treat a fine synthesizer, on the other hand. there are many polymoogs out there waiting for some donor parts, to get cured, or to ascertain longevity. that's a good cause too.

Oh, I understand completely. When I had mine repaired to the point where I had everything working, but was still missing half the notes on the keyboard, it became obvious that I needed more divider chips than I could possibly afford (or even find). So, mine lives on in a couple other people's synths as well.

i might have some interest in some of the boards. let me know if you break it.
EDIT: NOT the hfo's. i got mine already. I'm looking at polycoms and maybe some connectors.
