Hi Pacman #hi#
Don't worry about what you said on Steve's forum about feeling out of your depth. You make your own level in here and if you don't know... ask #boozer01#

Cheers Shaun. You know I owned a Juno 60 briefly a long time ago - bought for £60 off a few mates in a different band. But I couldn't play the thing so I eventually traded it in for and Ibanez CT Series Bass, which now resides in my attic for my son or daughter to have when they grow up. Who needs a 40-year-old popstar anyhoo?

Howdy partner ! Welcome. Glad you decided to join up. It's nice that it's not only keyboard players that are interested in this FAB site. ;D

Hi Pacman
I think it's nice to have non playing people on here if you have an interest in the instruments and sounds which you must have if you are into Numan etc.
there is as much banter as there is tech talk so no reason to feel out of the loop so to speak.
talk about whatever you like and someone usually has something to say about it.
Cheers
Spoonz

Thanks Guys. I have a very big interest in the music side of things. I was a lead singer in a wee band many moons ago and then progressed to being a bass player (albeit not a very competent one). When I was 13, I played the clarinet in a local band and even won an all-Ireland medal in 1980. My father was very musical and bred it throughout the family although his tastes were more classical. As a Numan fan, I was always fascinated by the synths and years ago I almost bought a polymoog for £25.00 from a local recording studio but decided to go out on the Friday night and drink it instead. (Yes - I know I should be put up against a wall and shot). Believe me, I may not understand the tech end of things but I'm a willing learner and judging by some of the threads over on TTP, my fascination will continue.

No Gavin - it's a play on my nickname. Patrick becomes Paddy (unsurprisingly for an Irishman) but at home my mates called me Paci (pronounced Packy). I just used pacman as a handle when I joined the Touring Principle Forum and brought it across.
