I have to say they were excellent at sorting it out though.

I got an email today that showed as high priority and showed as being from ebay. The title was something like "user name included in the message to varify this email is from ebay". I virus scanned it and no virus came up. The message itself had lots of html language and various links in it. I deleted it & then ran spyware, virus checker and deleted all temporary files and internet files and cookies - just to be safe. I have also changed my password twice using a different computer. This could have been one of those messages that runs a script when it is opened that either searches for your ebay cookies, or logs your key strokes when you log onto ebay. (or maybe I;m just being paranoid ! ) Anyway, if any of you guys get any emails from ebay, I would either open them using a webmail account, or just check your "My Ebay" messages becuase any messages from ebay should show there too. I guess I'm being over paranoid becuase I was supprised to hear that Spoonz's ebay was hacked & he is pretty hot on the PC front. So it must be some new kind of scam comming out.

No your dead right Dan
The bastards that scammed my account got in it seems by hacking my into my webmail and requesting a lost password reminder from ebay. They intecepted the password email and went into my account and changed the password to one of their own locking me out.
it happened twice more after my original post and they listed 70 items in total. I have had to setup new email with new passwords and my ebay account has been cleaned and locked from use until they sus out who it is.
All the listings were music related which makes me suspicious that it's someone i have dealt with on Ebay. have to say it's rocked my confidence in Ebay security a bit that they did this 3 times and Ebay were powerless to stop it other than blocking my account until the scammers go elsewhere.
Now i have a locked account and there is a lovely Pro Soloist which i looked pie eyed at
