Here's a Numan performing 'Cars' at the Sunderland Academy (a place Numan refers to a 'quirky'!) on Saturday night. Although i nearly froze my pods off and Kazz's nips could have cut glass waiting in the cold! We were 6ht and 7th in the queue so got prime position at the front. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Jim 'the machman' Napier stood infront of me. Jim runs the North American Numan fan site themachman.garynuman.info/. He has flown over to go to all the shows from Sunderland onwards, now thats a fan. He's also a very nice bloke. We did have a small panic when Gary and Ade came out, looked at the 10 people in the queue, looked at each other then got in a car and drove off ! Talk of them making a quick get-a-way did pass among us! But they returned about half an hour later! By the time the doors opened the queue was up the road and out of sight. Anyway...
