God! "World Of Water" now there's a blast from the past. I'd totally forgotten that one and like everyone else, only remembered "Living By Numbers".
Can't say I'm a fan. I don't think time has been too kind on the production style and as I didn't really dig it that much in the day, (Numan, Kraftwerk, Foxx and The League eclipsed all else for me back then) I don't have the rose tinted nostalgia cans on to filter out the the early '80s cheesofactor ;D

Singer Tony Mansfield produced A-Ha, Naked Eyes, and B-52's. I can totally tell! Yeah, New Musik is a recent find for me. I think completely unknown in the US.

Gosh steve wright was a snidey fucker wasn't he.
FYI Mike he's the Ex radio1 DJ who voices the into's on the TOPT 2 Videos. Pretty smug for a perm headed moustachioed immature creep.
Always loved that track, another of my guilty pleasures (together with "Turning Japanese" by the Vapours)

Ahem... Turning Japanese is no guilty secret Joe. It's a firm favourite amongst the Toffee crew and gts played loud and proud at any party... along with Echo Beach and I Travel ;D

Anyone else a fan of the band New Musik? Yes. Loved "living by numbers" and "sanctuary". Bot both somewhere on 7" vinyl. Sanctuary actually "borrows" the Underpass riff in places..

Hehe, the guitarist on WoW looks like Benskia's video. (no, not the "mugging to camera/ Jarre" thing, the other one. Straight Lines guitar sounds like vintage Hank or Roy.. And Warp. Remember Shakatak?

Oh yes, I have all 3 albums on my mp3 player on regular basis.... I just love those 12 string guitars together with the unison mode OB-Xa bass lines!
I saw some live videos a few moths ago (first time for me) Tony Mansfield looks really frightened... no wonder he became producer...

Loved them forever! Clive from the band is a computer tech now and Cliff is a black cab driver. As for Tony he's taken time out, talked to his bro Lee about 6 months ago and said there will be some new material coming soon. I'll keep you posted if I hear more. You should check out a band called 'Search Party' friends of Tony and he produced. The best track of SP is called 'Urban Foxes'
