Hmmm. Still don't know what to make of this but will more than likely go to London. I've just read the blurb on his website and I feel a little patronised. Seems like he's doing it out of sufference (sp?) and I don't like that. Having said that, no-one's forcing me to go... but I bet I do Now that we all know what each other looks like, I take it we won't have to meet under the clock outside a tube station, wearing large floppy hats..?

You have to read between the lines Andy.
It's code for i have to do it otherwise i won't have any fans left cos my new stuff is crap compared to Telekon but i'm not going to admit it so i'll make out i'm doing you all a favour.
A little harsh maybe but that's how i see it. I can't see any way that a lot of this won't be on Dat. There's no way a motif is bashing out a Pro Soloist or Oddy sound that's anything like genuine but if you go with that in mind it should be a good gig.

I haven't decided whether or not I want to go to the show in Washington DC, which is 4 hours away from where I live. I really don't like Jagged at all, and I'm generally not into the new sound he's been doing the last decade.
This mini Teletour sounds very exiting, but alas:
"We fly out on sunday ready for the first gig in Detroit on monday and we feel we have the most powerful set we have ever played. Anyone looking for a trip down memory lane, well you might as well sell your ticket now because that isn't going to happen."

I'm hoping to make the London gig. It will be good to hear someof those old style songs at concert volume. Whether it's on tape or not, how cool woll it be to hear Vox Humana screaming into your ears and vibrating through your chest Call me paranoid but I think this is also an exercise of a "win win" situation for Gary. If loads of people go, then he wins by making loads money & having a great night, and can do more similar conerts in the future. If not enough people go he wins because he can then say "Well people said they wanted to hear the old stuff, but I did a concert just for that and hardly anyone came" Therefore there's no need to play older songs at future concerts #scratchhead# But to be fair, the fans that do go should enjoy it a lot which means they all win to. A smart move all round then I guess I hope it works out for all concerned and we get more of these EXTRA concerts in the future.

It's being filmed for DVD anyway mate so you'll see it that way. Watch out for the guys in the crowd all stood together wearing "Bring Back The Polymoog" T-Shirts holding up an inflatable lifesized Poly. I don't think he'll like it but I wouldn't mind betting we'd have the crowd on our side for the sentiment
