I could use the money i saved on the pro soloist i suppose I was thinking of you actually Martin as you use a lot of piano and the electric you used in scream is VERY CP-30 like. The guy is the other side of the Pennines from you (Huddersfied) and you could save a mint by picking it up yourself. I'm bowing out not because £122 quid is too much (its the going rate) but weighing in at 120 Lbs (54 Kg) its the weight of 1½ Polymoogs and would cost as much again to have it brought "darn sarf" (I won't be around to pick it up, being Christmas and all).

I have been looking for one for a while. But when i put in CP30 or Yamaha CP30 nothing has been coming up.(except for one in america, local pick up only). I didn,t realise you had to put the full description eg.yamaha CP30 electric piano

This has caught me out before, but it is because the listings has a - between the CP & the 30, so a search for cp30 wont match but a search for CP 30 or CP-30 will ! Confused.com ! Alternatively a search using an * will bring up all possibilities. i.e. searching for Yamaha CP* will bring up all of the Yamaha CP range. I did a search for an SH2000 earlier, but if you change the search to SH 2000 you get different results ! DOH ! As if Ebay didn't waist enough of my time already

If you want to search evilbay for multiple iterations of a name (or just multiple items) just put them in brackets seperated by commas and a space e.g.
(cp30, cp-30, cp 30, prophet-5, prophet 5)
Run the search and it will look for any of the search terms. Add the results page to your favourites and you can run it again anytime you like with just a click or two.

Cheers for that ;D I suppose if i looked into it,everything would be explained in e-bay. Iam the worst for "if i don,t see it first time i stop looking"(instruction manuals, tutorials etc.)

Man ! There were several people wanting that one weren't there ! It is a high price, but I guess you are saving about £100 if you can go and pick it up. The sound that comes from these is lovely. Hope you will be pleased with it.

Ahh Yes Jordan I have meant to speak to you about the noisy beasty.
Can you measure the + and - 15v rail from the psu and try adjusting the trimmers ans see if you can get them right. Mine had a similar problem to yours and it was the -15v rail down to 8v and i could not adjust beyond 12.
see if yours is the same
