It would certainly be interesting to hear the difference between the early Musicaid and Simmons versions to be sure

Well its gone over my insanely high bid of £95 with three hours to go!!! I'm walking WELL AWAY (I might be mad but not THAT mad ). Nice item but I've got my sights set on other things that I can do a lot more with. I'll bide my time untill another one shows up at a reasonable price. Afterall - Colin & Danny have both bagged one apiece off the bay in the last month or so.. they ain't THAT rare

Well Love Needs No Disguise and Noise Noise apart, I was/am a MASSIVE fan of mid 80's electro Cybertron, Planet Rock etc. I've played with these beggars for years but always wanted one for "the collection"... hey when it comes to analogue beats nothing touches the 808 except the CR-78 because of its minimalist chic and the new contender for kick disembowelment recently discovered in the KR 120P Hip hop, be bop, don't stop

Keep on breakin my man ! Quality stuff. ;D

PS Shaun. If you want any of that old Electro stuff copied to MP3 I would happily send it to you (email or post). I have a lot of the Electro Albums and plenty of rare stuff from Word of Mouth featuring DJ Cheese.
Any favourite tracks missing from your collection ?

I've still got the Hashim 12inch (rock naafiysh rock naafiysh ) and I've got Streetsounds Electro 1 to 9 on CD (off vinyl). I've also got the first two Newcleus albums and the original Bambaatta Planet Rock album. Talking of DJ Cheese, I don't suppose you got into Tack>>head? ;D What I've always wanted to get is a copy of the two Streetsounds albums "Crucial Electro" - especially Crucial Electro 2 for Forevereaction's "B.E.D '34" and "U People". Also the Masters At Work EP on Tommy Boy featuring Keith LeBlanc (a man who is GOD to me) with a rare track called "On Manoeuvres"... Or the "Miners benefit" EP with another unreleased LeBlanc track on it which sounds like a very early version of "M.O.V.E." (I don't know what it was called though). Oh the classics... you've gone an got me drooling now Danny Malcolm X... No Sell Out

Sheeeaaat homie Mixer, turntable and a drum machine And everything else that makes it sound real mean Danny's DMX rocks the party non-stop He takes it from the bottom to the T-O-P top Sittin' up there on a throne like a king Turnin' out music like it ain't no thing So do yourself a favour and have no fear When that DMX fills up the atmosphere Gimme the time, I'll show ya how to vogue Then he'll blow your fuckin mind with his polymoog Cos it's devastin', sexy, sweeter than the rest And on the DMX Danny M is the best
