I've just got the Minimum Maximum DVD & the sound quality blows me away ! It is taken from various dates of their world tour in 2004 (I was there in Brixton maaaan!) And I would highly recommend it. They have really tweeked the sound mix until everything is perfect and in it's place. It's better then the CD version for sound (In my humble opinion) I've gotta go now cos I wanna watch it all over again

Got my german version of the Minimum Maximum Laptop packaged dvds+cds yesterday. Yeah sound is spot on.Only things I would have liked - more old tracks like Spiegelsaal,Schaufensterpuppen, Antenna,Computerliebe and Europa Endlos would have been better choices (for me) than music non-stop and a few of the newer ones.
The other thing is I wish they had gear that looked more interactive , like custom designed midi controllers with levers and dials and things....

Bern lasst uns sehen, das er alle Kraftwerk liede auf Deutsch kennt. I grew up in Germany so to me all Kraftwerk songs sound better in their original language as that's how I first heard them. Pretentious? Moi? ;D

...aber ich kann nicht deutsch verstehen! They just sound right in the original language. Back in schooldays I used to be into learning various languages (I eventually picked japanese to study properly) so used to always get any foreign versions of tracks I liked, such as Helden/Der Amboss/Spiel Ohne Grenzen/Herr X/Les Manniquins as well as stuff that was originally in a foreign language. I had the same thing with Peter gabriel's album the one with Shock den Affen on it.I never heard the original til years later (for some bizarre reason) and although the english versions are the originals my brain had already got used to the german versions...
So Shaun hopefully we will be getting the original language version of your Kraftwerk cover?
