Hello, I own a recording studio in France in Boulogne sur mer. This studio is vintage oriented and we have many old analog synths including ARP Odyssey, Avatar, pro soloist, Oberheim Four voice, OB8, dmx, Yamaha CS10, CS5, PROPHET T600, and MOOG minimoog , Polymoog and many other. I am now working on the polymoog. This one did not make any sound. One bad polycom card shorted the PSU. After removing the bad card and replacing some diodes on the psu, the polymoog was back to life. On the filter board, I also found a resistor (R138) making a shortcut with the crossing 15v track. This made every 4016 IC12 I put in smoking. Also a dead 4558. There is still some problems : some notes are missing in PW, (probably a bad divider) and some more issues on the filter board : sustain malfunction, no modulation amount, no swell and more. Hope this help.

I found a faulty transitor (Q6) causing no modulation amount. But now things are going worst : I have no more VCF contour.

Hi Dubrasdor and welcome! I've just read your post, I think it would be better in the Technical section where most of the restoration attempts appear ! Marty
