First post and all that. Just spend an undisclosed sum of money on a Polymoog 280a even though it doesn't work. I don't know what took hold of me. Anyway, will give it a jolly good going over once it arrives to see if anything seriously serious is wrong with it, starting with the power supply.
Anyway, toodle pip for now.

Good luck! As for the VSTi, good luck finding info on that too! Overstate2007 (the guy who made it) disappeared without a trace...... What takes the piss is that I've got it, love it, and want to see it get finished and released, but I'm starting to doubt that will ever happen. Shaun, what now? I mean, I can't seem to contact Clinton and am starting to get swamped with requests... "Is it done yet?" "Can I have it?" "What ever happened to it!?"
Check your PM.

Here's a demonstration of the VSTi's sound. This is the theme from "STALKER" the old Russian sci-fi film from 1979. Everything here is PolyVox. Sorry about the 32mb size..... It's the best I can do on short notice.... www.gamefront.com/files/20132663/3.wav

Welcome almost (or should that be almost welcome!)
Good luck with the Polymoog, this is the place to find information on how to get it working again!

Thanks chaps! I expect I'll need some help though I'll try and do what I can without pestering too much. I'm reading through the service manual (thanks for providing that) and it does look daunting. If the main problem — not working at all — is not too serious, I'd love to gradually go through it, replacing all the op-amps and anything else that's past it's use-by date so to speak. I'm a pessimist, so I expect it will all be a big waste of time and money, but we'll see.
@polymoog Lover: did you post in the wrong thread?

Not that buggy, some of the modes don't work and the VAR/PRE buttons have some problems, but other than that...... no.

In that case, I don't know the legalities but could it be released as a beta or see charge like 30 euros and collect the money in a fund for the author thru paypal. I don't know, maybe u thought about already.. Never mind
