musician and producer who came across this site while looking for the user manual to the Roland CR-8000 I just acquired

I read the thread announcement about manual requests and now I kind of feel bad for signing up....

I mean, I want the manual but I don't want to be rude by just running in and grabbing - I understand the annoyance in that behaviour

although it works both ways surely? I mean it is bait for folk to join the community

so....

What's the ettiquette? How long do I have to wait before I've ingratiated myself and it's polite to ask?

...and I'm sure there is a lot to get and much to give on the dubsounds forum but it's a mixed message when you walk through the door

I mainly make music with my Jupiter 6, my piano, my Fender Jaguar, and what ever else I can beg steal or borrow

Roland provides user manuals for nearly every product they've ever made on their website for free (including the CR-8000).

firstly I searched the Roland site (obviously) but could not locate the discontinued manuals page - maybe there is a reason to do with my location, I dunno

secondly, that link crashed my browser
