Got mine for £225 around 2000 and something. Just saw a JP-4 from Japan on eBay for more tha £1500, mine was £375. OSCars go for £1000+, got mine for £190. Don't they know there's a recession on?

I used to buy DR-55s for £20. Or less if they weren't working. I could fix them for £1-ish, and I thought I was doing well when I sold them on for £30-50.. Look at them now..(Hmm I have a box of broken SR-88/SR-99s (NOT a typo!) , etc that I couldn't fix quickly. Maybe it's time to revisit them..)

That's not the best bit. Did you see the shipping for such a tiny box? $575!!!!!!! [edit]Just read the description, shipping is incorrect. Still $425, are you taking the piss? Saw one for £150 and thought that was overpriced.[/edit]
PS. i have a dead SR-88 too.

On a DR-55, it's usually the 4011 chip that goes bad over time. I usually install a socket, and a new chip. Failing that, it's the RAM. The SR-88 may be similar.

Hmm, now I wonder if that old DR-202 I have gathering dust is worth holding on to....
