Hi.
Here I am, new to the forum.
been a synth player for 37 years now,
competent, passionate, articulate albeit a bit long-winded.
Hope to meet you in forum discussing how to do better music.

hi.
I private-messaged you a huge request for manuals.
Let me know if contribution is required in exchange (I have some vintage documents. Don't think I have anything you couldn't already get your hands on, but let me know just in case).

Ozy, that's just crazy. I can't possibly send you that lot. It would take forever to sort out and upload. I just don't have that kind of time.
Contribute to the forum and ask for the odd manual now and then when we can see you're joining in with things ok.

I was afraid it was a bit of a huge lot.
I am not a completist hog, by the way,
Fact is, I am not into soundmaking all the time. I spend most of the time playing and writing music.
When I start a project (and I am now) I sit down and write the sounds I'll need.
I'm currently researching for orchestral sounds built on analog synths (DSI series and minimoog),
so I am perusing vintage manuals for something different from the usual "prophet horns" or "ob brass".
I made some interesting trumpet+trombone section on the prophet, a cornet on the mopho, and a unison brass section on the moog,
but wanted to take a look to the ARP theoretic manual and some vintage ptaches for fresh ideas.
That's why I wanted to gobble all that stuff at the same time, sorry. Over the next couple of months I'll be into sound design, then go back to ivory-hammering
If you could just send me the ARP 2600, I'd like to read it.
Thanks again

2) matt: didn't we meet somewhere? Have been living in London for 15 years.
