I live near Cincinnati, OH and have been addicted to synths for about 30 years now. Got a PAIA 4700/s kit around 1979. Sold it a few years later, but not long after that found Korg MS-20 at a garage sale for $20. I had missed the PAIA but the Korg was like a whole new world compared to it. I still have it- along with about 30 or so other vintage synths. Now I spend more time repairing then playing! Thanks!

Thanks for the welcome. I spend a lot of time on the 'net doing research for repairs and for finding parts. I'm surprised I haven't ran across this site until just recently. I'm sure I'll be checking back in often.

Welcome TC from another out of control collector. I'm also a Buckeye. I'm in the Canton area. Nice people here...a lot of them Brits. I'm still trying to learn and understand their "English". I've always loved synth music, but I didn't know a damn thing about them until about four years ago. All of the things I've discovered since then is mind-boggling...and there's still so much more to learn.

I don't mean to send this thread off on a tangent, but to which of my comments are you replying to? The "out of control collector" aspect or my relative ignorance and inexperience? I will keep your offer in mind. The only sound I need right now is that of me running around the room shrieking like a schoolgirl for winning 200 million dollars in the lotto! That should come to about 20 thousand dollars after taxes.
