I don't know the guy, so I can't vouch for his reputation.
But, it seems a bit questionable to have such a high starting price for items sold as "used and untested" with the threat of being destroyed if not sold. Just my opinion.
If I were not unemployed, I'd snag them myself if only to save them from destruction.

His reputation was not questioned. Only his intentions.
It's nice to see these items are being purchased and saved from destruction.

Yes, I picked up a few parts myself from those auction listings, and have been pleased so far.

I was hoping you were going to say you'd bought the box of polycom cards as I need sum replacements ! Well, stay tuned (no pun intended), 'cause if my patient doesn't improve soon, it will be taken off life support and become an organ (again, no pun intended) donor....

I have at least 3 duff cards, I've no idea if its just the chip or something else on the card. I've not investigated. My PMK is poorly again as she's blown a ua726 chip! Only spares I can locate are in Hong Pong

Only spares I can locate are in Hong Pong www.vintageplanet.nl/semiconductors.htmlThey are €24.50 each on your side of the pond. Looks like the old trick of matching two discrete transistors won't work either

I just received four from Hong Pong, long legged version, bent to blazes ! And if want the 726 after all that!
I have two tones, one high pitched one low from the 2nd oscillator, the FM2 modulation won't adjust and neither will oscillator 2 modulation amount adjust either, more investigation needed!
