Hi all, My name is Terje Winther. I compose, perform, record and play live with analog synthesizers, both as a solo artist and as part of the WintherStormer band. I also build analog modular synthesizers, and repair old synths. I was invited here because I this summer will restore a polymoog. Additional info here: www.wintherstormer.no/All the best, Terje Winther

Hi, and thanks for the warm welcome. Strangely enough, I am not into Gary Numan, because I like the music from the time when moog synthesizers where new, including the polymoog, which predates Numan. I like the polymoog because Klaus Schulze used the instrument, and I witness Norlin Music demo it in the 1970s, and it was really fantastic to experience at the time. One of my longtime dreams would be to have a moog modular, dual minimoogs and a polymoog. If you have the "...live..." CD by Klaus Schulze, you can look at the photos and listen to the music, and you will know what I mean. An excellent vid can be seen here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdVq_HaOoeYSo I am of the old school, very much into Tangerine Dream and stuff like that. I will take some notes and photos regarding the progress on the polymoog restoration.
