That's right. I'm selling my Darkstar. It's just not getting used, so it may as well go to someone else.. Red Sound Darkstar Analog Modelling SynthesiserFrom the listing: Red Sound Darkstar Analog Modelling Synthesiser. Table-top (Keyboardless) 8-voice polyphonic synthesizer. Analog sounds are created by DSP-based analog modelling which means reliable and clean analog-type synth sounds. Features 2 oscillators per voice, 5-part multitimbral set-up, joystick mixing for oscillators, ring modulation, filter resonance and pink/white/blue noise generators. The 14 knobs, all transmit MIDI data and provide instant hands-on access to the filters and envelopes. Two LFOs and two envelope generators provide plenty of modulation abilities for the oscillators, pulse-width and filter. The filter offers high-, low- and band-Pass filtering with a 12dB/oct slope. Both the cutoff and resonance can be modulated by either LFO and EG for a wide range of filter-sweeping effects. An optional upgrade kit (Not included here) converts the DARKSTAR into the VOCODA - a fully featured 11-band vocoder with five operating modes. The Darkstar can be used to process external sounds, or combine them with the internal sounds. If you are after analog sounds without all the hassle (tuning for instance!) Supplied with PSU, in it's original box, all packaging, and the original manual. Go on then....P.S. I'm promoting this on my website, and electro-music.com as well.. maximum coverage!

Wow! That was impressive! I listed the item on eBay with (I thought) a silly BIN price. (I had done some research as to what prices these things go for..) I then posted on here, and a couple of other prominent electronic music forums, and went to togo.ebay.co.uk, to make a really flashy advert. togo then rejected my item number... so I gave up and went home. Later, I checked to see if there had been any interest. No sign of the listing...
Turns out it sold in minutes. Maybe I should have made the BIN price even sillier? Never mind, it was an excellent price, especially bearing in mind what I paid for it.
