Just found this place! I'm a musician/teacher/electronics repair tech in Kennesaw, GA. My area of expertise is brass instruments, and I'm currently the electronics repair tech at Audio Atlanta in Marietta. I've recently had the chance to start adding vintage synth restoration to my repertoire, having already rescued an ARP "Orange" Axxe, and I just acquired a barely functional Polymoog Keyboard I do almost exclusively linear/analog electronics, digital is avoided except for some CD repairs. (yes, I do tubes!) and YES! Polymoog rebuild hints welcome! Don Taylor

Oops, sorry, should have been more specific with my location. You would've thought I'd learned that lesson after being on a Märklin forum for a few years... Aaaaaanyway, it's Kennesaw, Georgia (GA) in the USA. Probably quite a long drive for most of you, assuming you can hold your breath that long crossing the Atlantic.... Don

Damn, and Axxe to a Polymoog ..... talk about 0 - 60 Well, it's a Polymoog Keyboard actually. And a Polypedal. When I first started working repairing hi-end audio, the person I was working for pulled pretty much a 0-60 on me also. It went from a simple clean-and-check on a preamp, to repairing a half-dead Bang & Olufsen Beomaster 2400 Don

Well, it's a Polymoog Keyboard actually. And a Polypedal. The Keyboard is the version we love - one word, Vox Humana. Oh and welcome. ;D

Hi just joining, looks a great place. Just about to repair a Powertran Transcendent 2000, but past projects have included a Roland tr-707, Roland SVC350, Korg Poly 61.... But still a learner so be gentle with me.
