I thouhgt I'd have a go at a 'normal' song with vocals Would be interested in comments... (The vocal was a last minute thing and will change - Made up the words on the spot ) Song contains me on REAL guitar and actually playing, yes, PLAYING other synths etc. Band

I listened to this when i got in saturday night and the thing that stuck in my mind was that the vocal lacked confidence,as though there was someone in the next room and you didn't want them to hear you? So i've listened again tonight,and there are alot of good sounds in there,the bass being one that springs to mind. But i notice a vocoder has been added now!2 things i don't like are vocoders and arpeggiators. I really don't think you need to be a great singer to put emotion into your voice(people in general not you in particular mark) everyone can scream and shout if we are mad or upset so if you feel the lyrics and the emotion involved in them then you should be able to portray that emotion in your voice

I preferred the earlier version with the straight vocal too. If you are not a natural singer,then IMO vocals do take a bit of practice, so don't be put off as there are not too many around the forum wiling to show ff their vocal skills (or limitations)
