Provided I don't have to go into work on Saturday, I might well take you up on that Martin. Where's a good place to stay in Kendal?

I've made it twice and at least one was sober Martin and depending on Tony Allgood there are 2 good reasons so i'll be there if it happens.
Enjoyed "Myself" by the way. Vocals reminded me of Maggie Riley from Mike Oldfieid stuff.

We've a very nice castle ruins site that would be ideal for a couple of tents :Dor there are plenty of elevators that i know you lot are partial to. If it happens(i'm trying to organise it so we can play with some mates of mine, ghengis grimes(check them out on myspace HERE),who are from st.helens,so it depends on their availability)(and louise, who hasn't answered my text yet)so if it goes ahead,i will sort your accommodation

"Escape". I liked it. not my fav track of yours but i find your Oddy a paradox. As Shaun mentioned it has a special sound. The paradox is for me it sounds very Minimoog ish. If indeed it is a Mk2/Mk1 filter then it is a 12db type. Minimoogs and later Oddy's use a 24db design so all the hype about moog sueing and filter copying is shite frankly. So there is the paradox. LiquidScreamer has a Moog sounding (To me) Oddy that shouldn't. Click for my opinion

Castle for Tents ?? I guess you mean Penrith ?? There is bugger all left of it. I suppose it has a convenient retail park and Mc Donalds going for it should i need a bag of screws from B&Q to go with my camp fire

The castle would be a fab place to hold a summer festival. Do they allow that sort of thing and morever, is Kendal ready for bus loads of crusties, tents and bongs ;D I hope this comes off mate. I'll sort your accommdation Should I be as frightened by that as I actually am? Cheers mate

So that's the compo finished then?
Who (apart from Martin) entered?
Great pity that this didn't really go anywhere because it was a great idea. I know I couldn't do anything for it because I didn't have the time. I'm guessing that's the same for all of us here yeah?
Bummer eh?
I think I'm going to retire and live on a beach #rasta#

Yes I'm embarrassed to say I just didn't have the time for this one. It is a shame cos it was a good idea. Well done to martin though, his entries were great.

It's a bugger innit? Hey Gavin... plan ahead mate! You want to come back for another dubpot session in March? Four tracks this time? I know it's a bit difficult getting Charlie and stuff but if you really want the truth mate, I actually prefer your voice. Don't take offence at that, I'm just telling you the truth. You suit your own stuff these days simple as that.

Apologies for not getting my shit together either. Combination of factors as usual, chief among them being playing with new motor (trying to get it fettled up for its first club run this weekend), and general lack of musical ideas, or rather ability to get them out of my head and through the speakers Haven't turned my synths on for a few weeks now...

Ok then. It's too good an idea to waste so we'll shelve it for now.
I'm not quite sure when but shall we say same rules and everything but we'll do it in the summer?

Yup the idea should be shelved not binned.
How about this for a mini comp
pick a common or even free vst and we all submit a patch.
That is just create a patch we like nothing else apart from our demo of it

That sounds like a good idea. I enjoy making patches/new sounds.
