The Dog's gonads! Saw them in the original line up at the "Top Rank" in Sheffield. Reproduction is still their best work in my opinion ( which is the correct one natch), wish some one would remix-master it though.

Have you heard The Golden Hour Of The Future (Remastered Edition), Vortex? There's also The Golden Hour Of The Future Sampler EP with a podcast of Martyn Ware interview podcast track at the end.

Heard the first one not the sampler. I do recall a recent interview with Ware who was lamenting his inability to program the Roland to make a "proper" brass sound. He then played his current version of Being Boiled with newly minted brass sounds, as well as other cheese.
I won't link to it because it can never be unheard. Suffice to say it was god awful and Ware clearly didn't grasp what made the originals so fantastic. I hear he plays the original sounds when now touring with Heaven 17 so clearly someone gave him the heads up.
