Long time no see.. I finished building my new instrument called The Drumssette! It's a drum machine I built from a Tascam four track cassette recorder. Here ya go: www.mysterycircuits.com/drumssette/drumssette.htmlOh and there's a video where I control my Polymoog with it. Hope you enjoy!

I don't think I really understand how it works but it is clearly a work of genius
Can I have one?
PS How do you find dropped components on that carpet???

Thanks Sure! Yeah, something tells me I'll be stepping on lone resistors sporadically. Or diodes. Those are harder to see.

I made some new tapes! Actually, just made one new one yesterday, but I finally made some video of the other tapes I'd made. The first one comes from sounds I recorded with the Minimoog.. White noise snare and hihat, quick low filter sweep for the kick, and then an oscillating filter sweep over the entire measure. And I just bought a ZZ Top and Phil Collins tape down the street (.50 each), so I'm curious to see what those will do! Here's the first video for now. I'll make the other tonight: www.youtube.com/watch?v=zOKT_szlGlU
