I found someone who is driving up to NYC from North Carolina this week, so pretty soon I'll have the 280A back in my life after 2 and a half years!! Now hopefully I still have that MM5823 in a small parts bag taped to the cover inside.

Awesome! I know the feeling! There was nothing like flipping the power switch on my polymoog for the first time and playing it without seeing smoke or hearing noises.

It's here now! It arrived last night. I kept it powered on about 2 hours, and everything appears to still work okay (knocking on wood!). I put the word out a few months ago that I wanted to bring it up to NY, and got an email out of the blue a week ago. A friend of a friend I hadn't seen in 15 years was driving up to Manhattan for work yesterday, and was willing to transport it in his work van for me. Too bad my band is finished recording and mixing our record. I should have done this a year ago. Welcome home Attachments:
