Any feedback from Numan on the Vox Humana sound when he heard it? A couple of related stories. Me and shaun were on stage with a sound guy explaining how to turn the poly on and off and which preset to press(very technical stuff)while trent reznor was soundchecking his own synths through the stage monitors,so picture the scene, reznors carefully checking the sound levels of his synths when suddenly shaun starts playing the replicas intro on the polymoog, drowning out trents synths!! me and the sound guy looked at each other as if to say "shit, what the fuck is he doing"so we nervously look around at reznor expecting the worst, but he had stopped what he was doing and was nodding in appreciation/admiration. Then just after they'd finished soundchecking cars, numan patted the polymoog on the top as if to say well done old boy and reznor said "sounds great doesn't it.

Who could resist hearing the replicas intro through that massive rig. I'd have had your back and I'm soft

All I can say in my defence is I had a polymoog in front of me patched through to that enormous PA. Come on... I mean Reznor might have been playing but who wouldn't?
I just stared down at the keyboard and thought... fuck, this is a 20,000 seater arena, I'll never get a moment like this as long as I live so damn it all... I'm having it! Replicas intro... full whack it is then!
It had the desired effect ;D

They must have had subs only dreamed of back in the day. Did you manage to make O2 resonate?

Would be a good article to send to Moog Music, considering the recent thread about trying to encourage a future Moog product to revive the Vox Humana sound.
Would have been video gold to have seen Shaun play the Replicas intro and also get the reactions of those around!

Just seen the videos. Bloody Hell! And then I come over here and find out it was you lot who sorted the PMK... Amazing. Obviously, I also took the opportunity to post about this on NerveJam.Com, with links to Youtube, Dubsounds, and Toffeetones... :-) NerveJam.Com: Numan & NIN at the O2..
