Spacelab- I like it! The percussion you've used definately gives it a more alive feel.I could quick easily listen to this instead of their version as a good fresh replacement.Kind of got a 70's "surrounded by real synths on stage" vibe.If you know what I mean Please progress it and finish it ,it will be great!

I agree! Mind you I though I was hearing Coldplay's new single there for a minute No reflection on you Andy, just a poke at the Asda Mum Rockers wholescale melodic theft of late. I would say the fun has translated to the track and has vibed it up no end (pun intended) If I were to do a blindfold test, I'd say Ultravox live circa 1981 ;D Mine sounds a right numetal plodder now

Will try uploading a snippet of my Spiegelsaal/Hall of Mirrors at the weekend. It will probably change as it goes along.
Even considering doing "spokals" on it...got to really 'spose.

I,ve started on my intro, but,at the moment, that alone is almost 3 mins so it looks like i could be heading for the 10 min.barrier. Is there gonna be a file size limit?

I suppose there will have to be some kind of limit not sure what it should be though... Guess it depends on hosting issues...

Dubsounds isn't limited on filesize, it's bandwidth that's an issue. You could use as much as you like but I'm not a fan of long indulgent intros (I get bored waiting for the beat) and most tracks get boring after 7 minutes (unless they're totally mindfuckingly brilliant throughout). My main concern is how many people are going to be listening (downloading). The Telekon 25 competition nearly finished me with Joey (the guy who's server I use) because we exceeded his monthly bandwith twice over with 50 Gig of downloads in a fortnight. Considering the total bandwith to d/l all 12 tracks was something like 60meg and only 60 people voted (a total bandwidth of 3.5 Gig) you can see that a lot of leeching bastards got hold of the links and couldn't be arsed to leave any votes That says to me that you've got to be careful where you leave the links. The first sign of mass leeching and I'll have to pull the plug I'm afraid. Over to you mate

It DOES sound scrummylicious Col it has to be said ;D I guess I should up my rough too: RoughAs said by most already... its no-where near what I have in mind yet. In fact its really just the bass & drums backline right now. It's all Minimonsta and a loop of my mate Blair. I got shit loads to add yet (lots of rez sweeps / metalic twangs / shortwave radio stuff etc). Don't blame me if I scrap it all yet though. I usually do about 8 versions before I pick one and this is just my first 30 minute job

Tapping me foot madly to that one Shaun, sounds great so far. Just wish I was as talented as you lot. My recording equipment is basically an old tape recorder LOL, and I just barely get by using my PC, so Im happy to sit back and spectate and listen to you all do your stuff. It all sounds amazing so far.
