Anyone else interested ? Mine has a dip in it which does affect the sound a bit. So I would be up for this, but don't want to be gready (I've got a few other spares recently) so does anyone else need it more ?

Go for it Dan. These are so hard to come by used let alone new. Worth double the current price if you didn't have one.
I have been in contact with the seller regards other Polymoog stuff and when he gives me a list I will post on here and see if anyone needs anything and then maybe we can get a job lot off him for sensible dosh. He did think there may be another ribbon but wasn't sure so Jordan can be in line for that perhaps
And by the way a 203a on Ebay in Italy (Don't go there Shaun) with Poly pedal. currently a steal.
Item number 7397610900

Thanks Col, I shall go for this one in a big way then. I'd be up for chipping in to the possible job lot too (specially if there is a leg bolt holder in there ! ! ! )

PS. If there is no other ribbon controller in there for Jordan, then he'd be welcome to have the one from my polymoog if I get the new one. I'm sure the "dip" in the rubber could be repaired/replaced & otherwise it is in great nick with new tape mesh on & a fresh coat of black & silver paint. ;D

I'd like a punt at the legs please guys. Just a word of Caution - I bought and paid for some LM1 chips from these guys on Feb 8th - nothing received yet. More worryingly, they aren't answering my emails, which they did perfectly up to the point of getting my money. That said, I think their Ebay feedback is good? Maybe it's me....

Can't say fairer than that mate. ;D . Just something to bear in mind though Shaun, - I got a set of these legs a while back & got stung for customs and VAT charges when they were imported. I guess because they arrive in a BIG package & customs probably think "Yeah, this one should be worth opening up, charging £9 for the privilege and then slapping on some VAT just because there is f*** all the receiver can do about it". #spankass# Still, even with the VAT & import charges I am still WELL Chuffed with the legs mate & would fully recommend them. Just bear the possible extra charges in mind when bidding. ;D

Thanks for the tip offs Andy and Danny. Very much apreciated guys ;D I'll toy with this awhile but I'm not gonna go ballistic to find the reserve. I'll let someone else do that for me and then see if I still want to play. Where's Herman Stalomar when we need him? #braindead#

Well spotted Jordan ! It does say the reserve is $250 in the description. WHAT ! #yikes# That is way over the top. I paid less than $150 for mine months ago. Also these ones are described has being "galvanized or anodized" ! #scratchhead# Which means they are not the original shiny chrome ! Might be best to wait for some better ones Shaun, without such a high reserve. I am pretty sure this is the same guy who recently sold a set of these on a "Buy It Now of $195 !
How's about we all keep our eyes pealed for a nice set of shiny chrome legs for the Dubstar & post a link as soon as we find them ? Hang on a minute - check out my cool break-dance moves - #trippy01# #trippy02# (sorry, I just felt the urge!)
There is a guy in Portugal selling "home made" non adjustable ones for £49 BIN. Item no: 7396334458. Although not original or adjustable (& without braces) they look pretty cool.

I put my legs back on last night (so to speak) for the first time in ages. I can say that they are suprisingly wobbly without the braces so wouldn't recommend those Porto ones...

On a general note regarding Duty and Vat on imported stuff.
LIE
whenever I buy stuff from Kevin L and DBM I get them to list the value as $5 or whatever you can get away with. The duty is based on the declared or insured value at time of shipping.
I have only ever payed duty on one item so far before I twigged this.
Only drawback is if the item is declared as only worth $5 then you can't claim $200 on insurance if it goes missing. You takes your chances Generally anything under $30 ish gets away without duty.
My legs came from MArk Glinsky in the US and he shipped them to LA to a friends daughter who brought them over as hand luggage. Got some ver strange looks from security with a bazooka looking package. Paid $80

On a general note regarding Duty and Vat on imported stuff. LIEI genuinely wouldn't mind paying a fair tax on stuff but the system is so random and arbitary. I got my 2600 imported as a box of 'non-working electronic parts', which thinking about it was a bloody good description... the value was declared at summat like $500 - even then I think I paid close to £100 in fees. I thinks it's just another piss-taking tax on easy targets. The odd 30 year old imported synth is not going to break the country's finances - they should concentrate on (insert own rant here)..

Thanks again guys. Needless to say... I ain't playin' no more I wouldn't pay stupid money for legs and I was bushed last night, (didn't even notice they weren't chrome - just impulse punting). To be perfectly honest, if I got a set, they would go straight up to the loft anyway. It was only with a vague notion of using 'em the once with the Poly set-up centre stage looking cool as fuck in some dream gig droning away alone with both bottom E's taped down. Suddenly a huge woosh of white noise filters and Shaunie slumps onstage in a black swat team flak suit & gasmask surounded by strobes & megatons of dry ice to play the replicas intro to 3½ bored 40 something Numo's and a startled whippet I really should grow up #bigdube# No worries about looking some out for me Daniel. She looks bootiful on her matt black industrial weight keyboard frame right now (must do some pics some time - maybe even a pan around on vid?).

Bazooka Yeah. I've had no complaints.
Daniel has a dry ice machine Shaun and between us we make up 3.5 Numan fans so your dream can come true at Daniels house.
Sorted. Just call me "Col will Fix it" Make your dreams come true.
p.s The .5 fan is Monica who i'm sure will listen if we tie her to a chair.
