Good resource(below) for the eventual VERY limited edition cd sleeve our tracks (Can I suggest the cd sleeve etc for Dubsounds members only, whereas each individual track's use is up to the owner) www.keepwerking.co.uk/downloads.php

I'll knock up an "official" sleeve for download once everyone has finished.
That said, I think these days, most people are likely to pick out the ones they like and store them on their mp3 player to be honest.
I was thinking about putting up a page on the main site to get more exposure (we have around 600 registered members there as opposed to the forum and get around 8000 unregistered visits per month) but then again we run into bandwidth issues and copyright infringement on a much more public scale which could land us in bother so maybe not. I know Numan is fairly cool about unlicenced covers but I doubt Kraftwerk take the same view. Does anyone know of any sites that give away Kraftwerk covers blatantly and get away with it?

Yeah the copyright thing is worth considering for future events. I'm thinking a John Foxx one has never been done so might be a good one for the future ,he seems to be quite approachable based on accounts I've read in case there were any probs but I doubt he'd mind.Others I had in mind were album specific ones, Travelogue,Metamatic, etc...

I'd be up for any of those Bern. I'd like Reproduction & Travelogue (plus the b-sides and Holiday '80 EP) as one... lets just say anything up to the split (in case anyone fancies a bash at "The Dignity Of Labour"!!! I think Metamatic should be the full extended release (incl all the b-sides, "Young Love" and "My Face"). I'd LOVE to have a bash at the Philp Glass inspired "Glimmer"

Glad you included My Face as it's one of my all time favourite tracks of his,and am still hoping he will do it live on a future toursome day. Too many good tracks on Metamatic! will be very hard to choose....

Secret agent: which track are you doing??? Doing it in a different key is actually following the brief better as moving away from the original is one of the main "rules".
I've started again with Die Mensch Maschine/ and it was definately a good idea, different sounds to what I was using and more mysterious (hopefully) will put a clip up soon.

Slightly off topic(covers etc), was talking to Vortex about covers so I put my one of Engineers from the old Numan comp if case anyone wanted a listen(please note I only managed to use the 4 note motif from the original, had planned to figure out the rest but ran out time at deadline).I'll leave it up for a day or 2,then put up my new Kraftwerk clip of Die Mensch Maschine/Nin-kikai link to Engineers: www.tokyohunter.com/Kraftwerk/Engineers.mp3

Really? Wow! I'm guessing they are The Model,Tour De France,Showroom Dummies and Neon Lights? I bought the model 7"in 82 which had computer love on the bside, plus i,ve heard tour de france and planet of visions. My first radio alarm clock always seemed to be playing the model when it woke me up,so in a dreamy, just waking up state it sounded wonderful. I,ve probably heard others on t.v and radio but i wouldnt know which ones they were. ;D

Great version of Engineers that mate. Its amazing how those 4 notes can be used to such a good effect, looking forward to your Kraftwerk clip.

Yes and whenever Coldplay's track is played at work I always put the german elektronic style cover of it on soon after.

Yes YES I've turned a corner.
Sh2000 to the rescue. Came up with a cracking melody sound to my ears anyway. That had plagued me for days as I just couldn't make it sound right. Gave the old girl a service which tuned her up nicely too.
Only hurdle now is the vocals. Bugger
